The "Hillsborough" series features walnut that was harvested in the Hillsborough, NC area. This particular piece is highlighted by a very highly figured crosscut table top slab. The secondary shelf is walnut as well, and presents a very nice grain pattern. For contrast I used ash for the legs. The two woods work well together, complimenting the various light and dark tones of both species.

The table top slab is 1 3/4" thick, 33" long, and about 18" at its widest point. The secondary shelf is about 7/8" thick and measure 25" x 8 1/2".
The ash legs are just under 2" x 2" , and the table height is 30".
